About Us

Best Form Fitness Gear opened it's doors in November 1993 as a retail store at the Mall of America, aka "Mega-Mall" in Bloomington, Minnesota.  Best Form immediately became the highest volume single store retailer for all the lines of specialty fitness and bodybuilding apparel we carried. 

The company evolved into an online retail store when it's website debuted on April 1st, 1998. The Internet was still relatively new. Within one year of going online Best Form had developed a customer base spanning the globe. 

The company was originally founded as a supplement company in 1984 by Rick Sanvik.  As a devoted natural bodybuilder and fitness fanatic, he would later go on to win the first NPC sanctioned Natural Minnesota Bodybuilding Championship in November 1988. In December 2003 Best Form moved it's operations to south west Florida where we continue to serve fitness enthusiasts around the world.
